Access to Sport Sciences Print and Online Journals

A number of websites monitor the availability of online sport sciences, medical and other journals. In most cases, these lists indicate if there is free access to a particular title or whether the online edition is subscription-based.

In the past few years there has also been an initiative to provide access to medical journals in Low Income Countries and Low Middle Income Countries (World Bank designation). Information on this project can be found in the summary report on the HINARI project entitled: Health InterNetwork Access to Research Initiative (HINARI) Summary of Activity to July 2003 (PDF format ). Click on the above title.

(This report was previously published in issue No.39 Sept 2003 of ICSSPE's Sport Science and Physical Education Bulletin (online periodical available to ICSSPE members at http://www.icsspe.org/).
